In vengeance for being publicly humiliated, Mrs. Ganush places the apprehensive curse of the Lamia on Christine.
This curse turns out to be night terrors for Christine and her dubious boyfriend, Clay (Justin Long) brushing off all the events happening with her as mere coincidence. Christine and her boyfriend seek help from a “Seer” Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) who informed her that she is being possessed by a dark spirit. Then Back to back incidents start taking place at home Christine is attacked by the unknown entity and at work, she sees things about her and bleeds from her nose.
After all these bad things occurrence with her Christine goes to plead with Ganush for absolution but discovered she has died. Christine was running of time and goes back to Jas, who explains to her that as long as Christine is the owner of the doomed curse she will be tormented by a “Lamia” a powerful demon for three days until she is into hell. Christine unwillingly sacrifices her pet kitten. How Christine get free from the curse? And, what happened with her?
